POLITICAL. DIGITAL. LEADING.

Leading the way for recycling and the circular economy

REMEX opened its first German plant around 50 years ago in North Rhine-Westphalia. Today, we operate more than 30 sites throughout Germany, recycling residues from construction projects as well as from industrial and thermal processes. Based on five decades of experience, we proactively engage in social and political discussions, contributing our knowledge and expertise with the aim of strengthening resource efficiency and competitiveness of Germany as a sustainable business location. Furthermore, our strong commitment to the region provides a firm foundation for our international activities.

Digital solutions for our customers

As part of the digitalisation of our recycling services, we offer our German customers a quick and easy way to order bulk materials and building materials, as well as disposal services for materials such as soil and construction waste, via the online platform REMEX PRO. The entire process, from the initial enquiry to the final invoice, is fully digitalised. To learn more, your are invited to visit our German page.

Promoting the recycling of mineral resources

The German construction industry requires more than 550 million tonnes of aggregates annually. Secondary aggregates, produced on the basis of mineral waste, are sustainable alternatives. REMEX calls for a strengthening of national recycling policies and greater resource efficiency in order to better protect raw material deposits such as gravel, sand and natural stone.
