REMEX consistently implements the principle of conserving resources through the recovery of land and contaminated sites. Within our business area of soil and site remediation, we help to make existing areas, such as abandoned industrial sites, usable again. Among other things, this includes the treatment of soil.
Within the scope of remediation projects, we accompany our customers throughout the entire course of the project. Our services commence as early as the conception phase. With a view to subsequent use of the property, we offer our customers individual and case-specific solutions and carry out the assignments ourselves using the services as follows.
Consulting in the planning phase
Support in the approval procedure

The reuse of mineral waste is a central element of successful site remediation and sustainable soil management. If the mineral waste cannot be recycled despite our processing technology, it is disposed of in appropriate landfills or used as stowing material in underground stowage plants.
With regard to soil treatment and soil remediation, we offer the following services.
Storage, transshipment and treatment of soil
Acceptance of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
Silo plant for additives
Processing options: microbiological treatment, mechanical processing (sieving/crushing/classifying), stabilisation or solidification
At our Biburg site in Bavaria, we are able to clean highly contaminated mineral waste. The site's technical facilities include equipment for physical, chemical and microbiological treatment, as well as crushers and systems for classification and sorting. The encapsulated washing plant can be used to treat soil from remediation measures, for example, in order to reduce contamination from heavy metals and per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFC). Another hall is designed for the storage and treatment of hazardous and POP-containing waste. This makes it possible to treat waste with levels of contamination greater than landfill class DK III at the site. They can then be disposed of via the group's own above-ground and underground landfills or stowage facilities.
From project planning and implementation through to documentation and verification: we keep the satisfaction of our customers in mind for all services we provide. That is why our trained and experienced project managers accompany you through all stages of a project - and are always available to you as competent contact partners. In doing so, we consistently pursue our corporate goals.
